Fun Free Kid Activities!

  Looking for some fun to have with your kids?

July 25th-Judy Pancoast will perform at Central Park at 7pm! This show is for kids and Hometown Bank will be there handing out goodies! Rain date will be July 26th

July 28th– Little Library Celebration at Philbin Memorial Park from 4pm to 6pm. Refreshments, crafts, games and the splash pad!

August 2nd & 4th– CECRC hosts Storytime in Central Park from 10am to 11am

Aug 3rd-Free PJ Party at the Museum of Russian Icons from 6pm to 8pm- Snacks, crafts and a scavenger hunt!

August 21st– Watch the Solar Eclipse from Savage Field or Central Park but make sure to pick up your special viewing glasses here at our office at 560 High St.

September 24th– Free Family Yoga in Central Park at 10:30am

Take advantage of the State Pool or the Splashpad on those hot days!

Summer Concert Series

The Clinton Parks & Recreation Department will be organizing a seven week summer concert series in Central Park. It will be family friendly with a variety of groups playing throughout the series. Join us for live music in the park!

Where: Central Park

Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Dates: Tuesdays-  July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, August 8th, August 15th and August 21st 

Rain Date will be the following day

Minor’s Instructional Practices/Scrimmages

Billy Smith, head coach of the Clinton Maroon Monsters Youth Softball will be conducting summer/fall instructional practices/scrimmages for EVERYONE at the minors level.

Where: Clinton Youth Softball Field

When: Wednesday evenings starting  7/12

Time:  5-8pm 

Cost: Free!

Players should wear athletic clothes including
softball pants, cleats, and bring a glove/bat (if you have
one).

Clinton’s Little Free Library

little free library The Bigelow Free Public Library is partnering with the Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of the Bigelow Library to create a Little Free Library.

Join us for the Grand Opening Celebration! Come celebrate with refreshments, entertainment, crafts, lawn games, the splashpad and playground!

When: July 28th, 2017 

Where: Philbin Memorial Park (Acre Playground) 

Time: 4:00-6:00pm

Free Yoga in the Park

Free yoga FREE YOGA in Central Park will continue this summer in an all new series~All levels are welcome.  This class is perfect for those interested in yoga, wishing to start at the beginning, from the very basics. Bring your mat and water bottle and join us!

When: Sundays from 10:30am to 11:30am

Dates: July 30th, August 27th, & September 24th(Free Family Yoga on this date)

Ages: 12 years+
