Schedule of Holiday Activities:

Join the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department for a holiday season full of fun events!

  • Tree Lighting Event: November 28th, 2015 from 5:30-6:30pm in Central Park. The event will feature caroling from the local girl scout troops and Clinton High School Choir. This event is free of charge.
  • Christmas Tree Sales: November 30th-December 23rd at the Clinton Parks and Recreation office. All trees are purchased through the Clinton Lions Club.
  • Light-Up Clinton Event: Do you love decorating your house for the holiday season? Enter it to be judged in the first annual Light-Up Clinton Event! Competition runs from November 30th-December 17th. Must register with the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Mommy and Me Holiday Craft: December 9th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This craft event is for those 8 months- 4 years old with adult supervision. Cost per person is $5.00 per person.
  • Holiday Pops Concert:   December 12th, 2015 starting at 7:30pm. The Clinton Holiday Pops Concert is entering its 20th year of spreading holiday cheer. Tickets are on sale now at the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop: December 16th, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. All ages welcome with adult supervision. Participants will create a Ginger Bread House that they can take home with them! Cost is $5.00 per person.


CPR Ski and Snowboard Program

Greatest Possible Savings

The  early GPS pass prices for the the 2015-2016 ski season are in effect from September 8th-November 18th, 2015. This year the GPS bronze pass is $269, the GPS Silver Pass is  is $329, the GPS Gold Pass is $559 and the GPS Weekender is $439. When registering designate Clinton Parks & Rec GPS as your group name in order to get this discount. Click on the link for more information on the Great Possible Savings program through Wachusett Mountain.

Our Student Ski & Snowboard program is back again this winter. The program is open to students in Grades 4-12, and will take place on Thursday evenings for six weeks January 7th, 14th, 21nd, 28th, February 4th and 11th. Buses are provided for participants and will leave the Middle School parking lot at 2:45 pm and return at 8:00 pm each Thursday of the program. Click below for more information.

Fall.Winter 2015 CPR Brochure

The Fall.Winter 2015 Clinton Parks and Recreation Brochure has been released. We have hard copies available in our office and copies will go home with students in the Clinton Elementary and Middle Schools this week. The brochure is full of great programs and events so be sure to sign-up early for the ones that interest you!

The Clinton Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a variety of new and exciting bus trips. Please click below on any trip that may interest you.

Registration closes a month before the trip is scheduled to run.

Community Organizations and Events

In addition to the variety of programs Clinton Parks & Recreation has to offer, there are plenty of other activities going on around town! 

  • Discover Clinton’s Shop Local Day November 28th, 2015. This year will feature a food truck festival hosted by the Olde Home Day Committee. A complete schedule of events will be released soon.
  • Discover Clinton’s George Bailey Award reception and showing of It’s a Wonderful Life will be held on December 2nd, 2015.
