Swimming Pool 

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) oversees the Philip Weihn Memorial Swimming Pool in Clinton. The pool is located next to Clinton Middle School at 100 West Boylston Street, Clinton, MA 01510.

Pool Facts:

  • There is no charge to use the pool. There is, however, limited capacity, so as you walk in they will be keeping a running tally of how many people are using the facility.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Showers are required before entering the pools
  • Swimming pools have a water depth of at least two feet
  • Admission is free at DCR managed pools
  • All pool staff is hired by DCR staff
  • The pool is open for the 2017 season from June 24 – August 23
    • Monday-Friday:  9am – 11am Learn to Swim; 11:30am – 7pm Public Swim
    • Saturday & Sunday: 11am -7pm Public Swim

Pool Rules from DCR:

  • Follow the direction of the pool staff at all times
  • Take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
  • Practice sun safety; always wear sunscreen, seek shaded areas and protect your skin from direct sun exposure.
  • All children must be accompanied and monitored by a parent or a responsible guardian at all times.
  • Proper swim suits are required.
  • DCR only allows Swim Diapers in the pools.
  • Do not change diapers, clothes, or wash children at the side of the pool; please use designated areas.
  • No person with a communicable disease is allowed to use the pool.
  • For your safety, no person with open wounds or wounds covered by a medical bandage will be allowed to enter the pool.
  • Running and horse play are not allowed.
  • Drinking or possession of alcohol is prohibited.
  • Glass containers are not allowed within this facility.
  • These are shallow water facilities; Diving is only allowed in authorized areas.
