Winter Events

Clinton Parks & Recreation works with various groups in town to help plan, host, and support many seasonal events. Below is a list of events happening this winter.

 

 

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join Clinton residents for the annual Tree Lighting celebration again this winter! The lighting ceremony will take place in Central Park on Saturday, November 25th after the Selectman’s Holiday Party. All are invited to join in on the Holiday Spirit!

   Gingerbread House Decoration Workshop

Our Ginger Bread Decorating workshop returns this year with even more decorations! We will provide all the supplies, just bring family and friends to build your holiday creation! See you there!

Holiday Baking Competition

Enter our all new Holiday Competition on December 13th,2017! Show off your traditions and baking skills in our Holiday Baking Competition! A prize will be awarded to our top 3 winners!

 

   

Christmas Tree Sales

The Clinton Lions Club offers trees for sale each year at the Parks & Recreation Office building. Each Tree is $25, and all proceeds benefit the Lions Club.  Trees are on sale beginning December 1st – December 22nd (or until trees are gone).

   
 

Clinton Holiday Pops Concert

This year’s theme is “Jingle Bell Rock” and will feature New Hampshire Philharmonic, Fireside Quartet and Harp Soloist Emily Richardson. The show will take place on December 9th, 2017.

Tickets will be sold at the Clinton Parks & Recreation Office November 1st—December 9th. Tickets will also be available at the door for remaining seats.

Block Party..ON ICE

On February 2nd from 6:00pm-8:00pm, the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a block party on Ice at Savage Field. With skating under the lights, music, a fire pit, and concessions, this will be one night you won’t want to miss!

Daddy Daughter Dance

The 40th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance will take place on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Clinton Middle School. Clinton dad’s (or guardian’s) and daughters ages 2 yrs. and up are invited to get dressed up together and join in on this night of fun!

Tickets must be purchased ahead of time at Clinton Parks & Recreation Office.

   
 

Mother & Son Movie Night

The Annual Mother & Son Movie night will take place on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at the Strand Theater. Doors will open at 4:00 pm. All mothers (or guardians) and their sons ages 2 yrs. and up are invited to join! The movie this year will be Big Hero 6.
