Spring Events

Clinton Parks & Recreation works with many groups in town to help plan, host, and support many seasonal events. Below is a list of events happening this spring.


Twilight Hunt

Clinton Parks & Recreation would like to introduce an all new Egg Hunt this spring! This egg hunt will cater to our younger hunters but will still have a unique.  Your young one is hunting for a pair of eggs that is pre-assigned.

Glowing Eggstravaganza!

The Clinton Parks & Recreation department will be hosting a night time Egg Hunt on Saturday April 15th @ 8:00pm at Savage Field. Children ages 6-12 years old are invited to join in this fun and unique event!

All children should arrive with their own flashlight! This event requires pre-registration. For more details about the event please click here!

 Community-Safety-Rodeo-375x250 Community Safety Rodeo

Join the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department for this brand new family event! The Community Safety Rodeo is an event designed around bicycle, skateboard and wheeled sport safety. Our goal is to teach and develop skills to help children become better and safer on their equipment through guided practices in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere. The safety lessons don’t stop there, this event will feature car seat checkpoint, fire safety, helmet fittings, as well as, performances by a BMX Rider, food trucks and bounce houses! This is one event you won’t want to miss!

Outdoor Movie in Central Park

Grab your blanket and chairs and head to Central Park to join us for our spring outdoor movie!

Enjoy an evening outdoors with your family and friends for free. Don’t forget to stop by the concession stand to purchase your movie time snacks!

This year’s movie title will be released soon!

Memorial Day Parade

Join the town on Monday, May 29th for the annual Memorial Day Parade.

Groups in the parade should be gathered in Central Park by 8:30 am. The ceremony and events will begin in Central Park at 9:00 am sharp. The parade route goes from Central Park, Church Street to High Street, to Water Street, to Hamilton Square for a brief stop at the WWI Monument, and then on to Woodlawn & St. John’s Cemeteries. The parade is organized and carried out by members of the American Legion.
