Summer Events

Clinton Parks & Recreation works with many groups in town to help plan, host, and support many seasonal events. Below is a list of events happening this summer.

Clinton Town Wide Yard Sale

Join the Clinton Parks & Recreation Department for the 4th annual Town Wide Yard-Sale! We are hosting a town wide yard-sale that will give sellers the opportunity to do some spring cleaning and yard sale seeking enthusiasts the opportunity to find some treasures. Once again we will be holding the town wide yard-sale in conjunction with Sidewalk Sales brought to you by Discover Clinton. This year we will also have some great additions to the event; make sure you check out the ‘New this Year’ section below for more details.

 

 Concerts on the Common

This summer we will be organizing a seven week summer concert series in Central Park. Concerts will take place on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm. We will have a complete schedule available soon, but all concerts are intended to be family friendly. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and come to the park each Tuesday in July & August to enjoy some family music! For more information please click here!

Block Parties

Thursdays during the summer months the Clinton Police Department hosts Block Parties complete with a DJ and food vendors.

General Information:

  • Block Parties start at 6:00pm and go until about 9:30pm.
  • Union Street is closed off for the Block Parties.

 Clinton Fireworks

Every year the Clinton Fire Union organizes fireworks for the Town of Clinton around the 4th of July. Donations of any amount are appreciated and may be sent to the Clinton Fire Station at 555 Main Street, Clinton, MA. Checks are made payable to “Clinton Fire Fighters”.

Fireworks are shot off at the Veterans Athletic Complex on rt. 110 across from the High School. Most families will sit and watch the show from the High School & Middle School. The Varsity baseball and Softball fields will be closed to the public during the event.
