Ski & Snowboard Program

Student Ski and Snowboard Program

The Clinton Parks & Recreation Department will be offering its popular Student Ski & Snowboard program again this winter. The program is open to students in Grades 4-12, and will take place on Thursday evenings for six weeks January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st and 8th. Buses are provided for participants and will leave the Middle School parking lot at 2:45 pm and return at 8:00 pm each Thursday of the program.

This program offers families an inexpensive and convenient way to allow their children the opportunity to ski or snowboard with their friends on a consistent basis, ultimately improving their skills. The program includes the option to purchase either a season pass or the 6 week lift badge package. Lessons and Ski Rental packages are also available.  Payments for these services are made directly to “Wachusett Mountain Ski Area.” Buses are included in the program to get students to and from Wachusett Mountain each week for a separate fee made payable to the “Town of Clinton.”  A credit card must be used for Wachusett Purchases; check, cash or credit card payments are accepted by the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department.

The Registration Deadline is Friday, December 1st, 2017!

After this date a $20.00 late fee will be added to the bus costs.

What is the program cancellation & refund policy?

We will notify you if a program has been filled, canceled or changed. Clinton Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any program that does not meet minimum participation limits and is not responsible for any missed classes due to a participant’s inability to attend.

What if an individual class is canceled?

Every attempt will be made to reschedule a class that has been canceled due to inclement weather or instructor absence. In most cases, an additional week will be added to the end of the program to account for missed time.

How do I get a refund?

  • If a program is cancelled by the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department you will receive a full refund.
  • If you withdraw prior to one week before the start of class/session you will receive a full refund.
  • If you withdraw within one week of the start of the program or after the program starts you will receive NO refund.
  • If removed from a program due to behavior issues or misconduct NO refund will be issued.
  • Please note for this program as ski and snowboard passes are purchased directly through Wachusett Mountain you will have to work with them on any changes/cancellations. Contact Clinton Parks and Recreation Department for bus related cancellations.
