Turini’s Corner

Turini’s Corner

Turini’s Corner (Erwin McArthur Square) Park is located on the corner of High and Water Streets, just next to the train bridge. Paul Turini of Clinton was the long time owner of “Turini’s Diner”, an abandoned railroad car, on the same corner for over 55 years. Tom Turini, Paul’s nephew, now owns “Lou’s Diner” also located in Clinton. Lou’s Diner, along with The Old Timer Restaurant and P&S Pizza, are a couple of the oldest eating establishments in Clinton. Erwin McArthur is a WWI Veteran also from Clinton.
